The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monroe works over Mike's head and body with a nice combination.

It looks like Killer Mike has been cut.
Mike looks to land a combination. Monroe sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

It looks like Francesco Monroe has been cut.
Mike with a nice cross.
Monroe takes a swing at Mike's ribcage but misses.
Mike tries to counter by clinching up but Monroe breaks away and moves out of range.
A left and a right from Monroe both land. Nice combination.
Mike throws an off balance right hand
and Monroe counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mike scores with a sloppy right hand. Monroe should have avoided that one.
Mike lands a glancing blow to the side of Monroe's head.
Mike misses with a straight left.
Monroe throws a jab when Mike was well out of range.
Mike moves to clinch but Monroe breaks away
and Monroe counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Killer Mike's cut is getting worse.
Mike ducks under a wild hook from Monroe.
Mike misses with an uppercut
and Monroe counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Mike is rocked!
Monroe cracks Mike with a left hook right on the temple and Mike goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Monroe lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Mike is OK!

Francesco Monroe spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
