Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Luke Jackson (ranked 2716 p4p, 1431 weight class) and Julius Kaepernick (ranked 296 p4p, 178 weight class). Julius Kaepernick told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Kaepernick finds it's way through Jackson's defenses.
Kaepernick shoots for a double leg takedown but Jackson sprawls well. He's pushed Kaepernick's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
We've been told by Jackson's head coaches at Top of Food Chain that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

As Kaepernick looks to move away, Jackson throws a big counter combo but Kaepernick just gets out of the way.

Jackson drops Kaepernick with a beautiful combination! Kaepernick stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Jackson is looking for the KO!

Jackson sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Kaepernick's defenses. It connects perfectly with Kaepernick's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
