Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between who gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Reeves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
gracie shoots in but Reeves avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Nice takedown defense from Reeves. No joy for gracie on that attempt.
gracie connects with a looping right hand.

Reeves closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Reeves lands in his opponent's guard.

gracie is working an open guard so Reeves takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
gracie misses with a takedown attempt

and Reeves counters with a takedown into side control.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for who gracie . That's going to take a lot out of him.

Reeves tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Reeves has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Reeves has hold of gracie 's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! gracie tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Reeves cranks the arm and gracie screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from gracie , who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
