Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ben Avit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and dana o brian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that dana o brian was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ben Avit!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, dana o brian!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Bruno Hogan and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
o brian looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
o brian moves into range and clinches up with Avit.
Avit wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
o brian jumps into guard, dragging Avit to the mat.
Avit trying to control the position from guard on top but o brian is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Avit tries to free his leg and advance position but o brian is retaining full guard.
o brian is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Avit looking to sit in guard and control but o brian gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Avit throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Avit looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but o brian puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
o brian trying to control the action but Avit is working from the bottom.
o brian decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
o brian tries to clinch up but Avit circles away and keeps his distance.
No joy there for o brian, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Avit takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Avit decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
o brian wants to improve his position but Avit is controlling well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
o brian is pressing down on Avit's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
o brian wants to stand but Avit is controlling the position.
Avit pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. o brian is keeping the position for now.
Avit stopping the sweep attempt from o brian.

o brian looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
o brian working for a triangle but Avit defends it easily.
Avit is breathing heavily.
Avit trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but o brian manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Avit looking for a triangle here. o brian is fighting it but it looks tight! Avit pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, o brian is tapping out - this one is all over!
