The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Demler throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Demler clinches with his opponent.
Morales blocks an elbow strike from Demler.

Morales breaks from the clinch.

Demler has closed the distance and engaged Morales in a clinch.
Morales is looking to break free of the clinch but Demler has double underhooks.

Demler's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Demler stuffs the takedown attempt from Morales. Morales gets slowly back to his feet.

Morales avoids a wild elbow strike from Demler.

Morales manages to break the clinch.

Morales takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Demler lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

It looks like Tom Morales has been cut.
Morales takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Demler lands a big head kick that sends Morales to the canvas! Demler follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
