Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kharkat Rahmanko (ranked 3171 p4p, 24164 weight class) and James Toney (ranked 329 p4p, 493 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rahmanko is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Toney.
Rahmanko uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Toney.
Toney looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Rahmanko missing with a left hand there. Toney was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

and Toney counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Toney throws a body punch but Rahmanko moves out of range.

Rahmanko has Toney pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Rahmanko pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Toney tumbling to the mat - Rahmanko dives into Toney's guard.
Toney has momentary wrist control but Rahmanko slips an elbow through the middle.

Rahmanko seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

James Toney's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
