Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sama Ichiro (ranked 4331 p4p, 4322 weight class) and Frunder Zkcer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ichiro's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Ichiro is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Zkcer gets his way!

Zkcer is persistently looking for the submission but Ichiro is defending it well.

Ichiro stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ichiro wants it to stay on the feet.

Zkcer throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Ichiro tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Zkcer is in Ichiro's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ichiro is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
What can Ichiro do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Well Zkcer has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
