The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mabab darts in and clinches Choi up against the cage.
Mabab can't get the takedown.

Choi breaks the clinch.
Choi throws a head kick that misses

so Mabab counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Choi wants to stand and escape but Mabab is having none of it.
Choi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mabab. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Mabab pushes down on Choi's leg and manages to get into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Mabab looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Choi with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Mabab winds up and cracks Choi with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Choi is looking to escape.
Mabab is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Choi on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Mabab lands strikes from half guard.

Choi is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mabab content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Choi is still in real trouble! Can Mabab finish him?
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
Mabab scores with a big shot! Choi's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Choi! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
