Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Robert Green!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green scores with the left hand. Valentinovich knows he should have avoided that one.
It looks like Staroverov Valentinovich has been cut.
Green bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Valentinovich's head backwards.
Valentinovich drives through with a takedown into Green's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Green has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Valentinovich is on him like a limpet, forcing Green back against the cage.

Green moves in looking to clinch but Valentinovich pushes him off.
Valentinovich feints and as Green raises his hands in defense, Valentinovich changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Valentinovich is standing up over Green. Green looks to escape but Valentinovich dives into side control.
Valentinovich advances nicely into full mount.
Valentinovich tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Robert Green will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Staroverov Valentinovich's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Valentinovich is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Green is just riding it out for now. Valentinovich eventually gives up the hold.
Valentinovich is working for a kimura but Green is defending it quite comfortably.
Staroverov Valentinovich overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
