The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dory is looking to clinch but Leonard is avoiding it.
Leonard dives in and grabs Dory's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dory pushes down on Leonard's head and hops out.
Leonard is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Dory has a takedown stuffed.

Dory closes the distance and clinches.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.

Dory breaks from the clinch.

Oooooh!!! Leonard has knocked Dory down with a huge combo! Leonard steps away and waves a wobbly Dory back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like John Dory has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dory shoots in and drives through. Leonard sprawls well.
Buzzard Leonard has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Dory.

and Leonard counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Dory thinking.
Dory slaps away a takedown attempt from Leonard, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Leonard throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Dory keeps the fight on the outside.
Dory shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Leonard as he jumps to the side.
Dory just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromLeonard.
Dory shoots for a takedown but Leonard saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Dory moves into the clinch successfully.

Leonard pulls Dory into guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Leonard is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Dory really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Leonard. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Leonard looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dory is one step ahead there.

Leonard keeping moving, preventing Dory from controlling successfully.
Leonard wants to sweep but no luck.
Leonard wants to get back to his feet but Dory is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Dory decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Dory closes the distance and clinches.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Dory drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Leonard fails to pull guard.
Dory has Leonard pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Leonard manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Leonard lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Leonard wants to take the fight to the mat but Dory manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Dory tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Leonard just stands there and leans against the cage.

Leonard breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Dory tries for a takedown but Leonard sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Nice sprawl there from Dory as Leonard shoots in.
Leonard connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Dory seems to have recovered his senses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Leonard changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Dory fights it off and pushes away nicely.
