PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maui Zweig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arcturus Ulver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ulver is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Dunkelheit. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ulver takes a swing at Zweig's ribcage but misses.

Ulver bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Ulver tries to move to full mount but Zweig actually manages to regain half guard.

Zweig drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Ulver manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Zweig has Ulver in his guard.

Ulver slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Ulver drops back looking for a leg! Zweig is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Zweig manages to kick Ulver off! Ulver jumps back into Zweig's guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

and Zweig counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Ulver is lucky that one didn't land flush.
