Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joey Simone (ranked 157 p4p, 190 weight class) and Roberto Fabinho (ranked 23 p4p, 30 weight class). Simone's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Gucci Mane - Trap God Intro. Fabinho has chosen Glowed Up - Kaytranada as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fabinho throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Fabinho misses with a looping right.
Fabinho lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Fabinho connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Simone had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Fabinho defends it easily.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

It looked like Simone was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Fabinho has hold of one of Simone's legs. Simone is fighting the takedown attempt but Fabinho gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Simone has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Fabinho has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

That was a close second round but I would say that Joey Simone will probably get the nod.

Fabinho shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Fabinho was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
