Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Mauricio Rocha and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodrigues misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rodrigues looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Tatum is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Tatum is looking to get back to is feet but Rodrigues passes into side control.
Rodrigues stands up.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Rodrigues, right into the meat.
Rodrigues tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Tatum swivels and escapes.
Tatum scores with a hook to the body. Rodrigues takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Tatum misses with a takedown attempt - Rodrigues sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Tatum moves out of range as Rodrigues throws a body kick.
Rodrigues fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Tatum throws a series of punches but Rodrigues moves out of range.

The fight stays on the outside here - Tatum looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Tatum shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rodrigues but Rodrigues pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Marcos Rodrigues has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Drederick Tatum.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Tatum shoots in for a double leg but Rodrigues sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Rodrigues lands with a kick to the temple. Tatum shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Tatum missing with a left hand there. Rodrigues was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
A telegraphed right hand from Tatum misses the target.
Drederick Tatum seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rodrigues avoids a punch combination nicely.
A head kick from Rodrigues lands but Tatum takes it in his stride.
Tatum lands with a shot to the body.
Rodrigues keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Tatum rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rodrigues moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Rodrigues showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Tatum.
Tatum throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rodrigues's waist but Rodrigues gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tatum off to one side.

Tatum fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Tatum looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Tatum misses with a double jab.
Tatum waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Rodrigues.

Rodrigues has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Rodrigues there as he acknowledges the shot.

Tatum lands a left hand that snaps the head of Rodrigues backwards.

Tatum shoots in but no luck this time.
Tatum stalks Rodrigues and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Rodrigues's face. Rodrigues staggers backwards, shaken.
Tatum connects with a single shot there.
Tatum closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Tatum lands in his opponent's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rodrigues preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Drederick Tatum dominated that round.

Tatum takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Oooh a lovely combination from Tatum sends Rodrigues down but not out. Tatum dives into side control looking to finish.
It looks like Marcos Rodrigues has been cut.
Tatum cracks Rodrigues with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Tatum immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Rodrigues is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Tatum!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Drederick Tatum!
