The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gallagher steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Lion.
Lion tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gallagher was well out of range. Poor timing from Lion.
Gallagher seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Humble Lion seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gallagher lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lion circles away quickly and effectively.
Lion throws a hook but Gallagher avoids it easily.
Gallagher avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Lion tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Gallagher counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gallagher uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Lion.
Gallagher swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Lion throws the left hand but Gallagher avoids the punch easily.
Gallagher is looking to counter punch.
Gallagher connects with a looping right hand.

It looks like Humble Lion has been cut.

and Gallagher counters with a crisp right hand that drops Lion! Gallagher lets Lion back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Gallagher closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Lion out cold! Lion corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
