Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Otto McBean (ranked 807 p4p, 1608 weight class) and Joon Sang Hun (ranked 60 p4p, 114 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Otto McBean!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Joon Sang Hun!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Daniel Blasius and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Sang Hun misses.
McBean tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sang Hun sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten McBean somewhat.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from McBean is defended easily by Sang Hun.
Sang Hun dips to his left and cracks McBean with an uppercut!

It looks like Otto McBean has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McBean keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

Sang Hun now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

McBean wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
McBean looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
McBean shoots in but Sang Hun avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Nice takedown defense from Sang Hun. No joy for McBean on that attempt.
Sang Hun looks to throw the jab but McBean is out of range.

Excellent takedown into side control there by McBean.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

McBean goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Sang Hun rolls with the submission and now he's on top in McBean's guard! Nice work there by Sang Hun!

McBean might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McBean is trying to hold Sang Hun in close to prevent damage but Sang Hun has managed to pass into half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

McBean is trying to control Sang Hun's posture but Sang Hun avoids it.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Sang Hun has control of an arm but McBean manages to advance to Sang Hun's back!

Sang Hun is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if McBean gets his way!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Sang Hun throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Sang Hun swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sang Hun uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
McBean walks forward, straight into a front kick from Sang Hun.
Sang Hun is looking to chop away at McBean's legs.
Sang Hun misses with an uppercut.
Sang Hun connects with a right hand. McBean shakes it off.
Sang Hun throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

McBean looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sang Hun is fending him off so far but McBean persists. Nope, Sang Hun circles away and we're back to standing.

McBean dives in and grabs Sang Hun's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sang Hun pushes down on McBean's head and hops out.

McBean needs to keep his hands up - Sang Hun had a free shot at his head there.

McBean misses with a takedown attempt - Sang Hun sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

McBean looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Sang Hun is looking to take a break and control but McBean is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

McBean manages to get back to half guard.
McBean gets back to full guard.
McBean is trying to keep Sang Hun in close.
Sang Hun trying to control the position from guard on top but McBean is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Sang Hun looking to pass the guard.
Sang Hun advances to half guard.
Sang Hun winds up and cracks McBean with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

McBean is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Sang Hun pulls his head out easily.
Sang Hun is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Joon Sang Hun showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Sang Hun has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

McBean dives in and scores a takedown into Sang Hun's guard.

McBean is looking to regain half guard here but Sang Hun keeps moving and retains side control.
You can see the frustration on McBean's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

McBean is squirming around, avoiding Sang Hun's attempts to control the action.
McBean is looking to get to half guard.
Joon Sang Hun is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Sang Hun looking to control and managing it successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Sang Hun's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
McBean tries to improve his position but instead Sang Hun has taken his back!
Sang Hun controls the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
McBean can't escape the position.

And that's the end of the fight!
Joon Sang Hun comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Sang Hun has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
