Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Danny Fist!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brochado wants to clinch up but Fist keeps it at a distance.
Brochado is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Brochado looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Fist keeps the fight on the outside.

Fist looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Brochado tries to kick Fist off but Fist keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Brochado knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fist on the ground.
Fist trying to control the action but Brochado is working from the bottom.

Fist is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Fist looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Fist prevents Brochado from standing back up.

Fist seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Brochado does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Fist wants to free his trapped foot but Brochado is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Brochado is trying to stand up here but Fist is controlling him well.
Brochado is refusing to be controlled, as Fist sits in half guard.

Brochado kicks off Fist and gets to his feet.

Fist rushes Brochado and presses him up against the cage.

Fist gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Fist uses his free foot to push down on Brochado's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Brochado.
Fist won't let Brochado get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Brochado is breathing heavily.

Fist has hold of Brochado's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Brochado manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Fist sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fist lands a nice shot to the head.
Fist looking to control and managing it successfully.
Fist is looking to work his way around to Brochado's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Brochado's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Fist pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Fist looking to isolate an arm here. Brochado doesn't see it coming and as Fist extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Fist!
