Diaoune is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Gauntlet. Perez is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Diaoune circles away from the clinch attempt
and Diaoune counters with a lovely straight right hand!

It looks like Alex Perez has been cut.
Perez is breathing heavily.
Diaoune jabs at Perez's body.
Perez drops his hands momentarily. Diaoune doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Perez staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Perez doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
