Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Xavier Dayton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bruce Wagner!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Columbo Gatti and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Dayton finds it's way through Wagner's defenses.
Wagner connects with a crisp jab.
Dayton throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Dayton slips a straight right by Wagner.
Wagner throws a lazy right hand but Dayton sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Dayton throws a quick inside leg kick.
Dayton misses with a jab, cross combination.
Wagner throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Wagner misses with a few strikes there.
Dayton scores with a jab to the head.
Dayton lands with a shot to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Wagner swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Dayton connects with the punch.
Wagner misses with a few strikes there.
Dayton tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Wagner throws a counter combo.
Dayton throws a head kick that misses.
A slow jab from Wagner misses its intended target.
Dayton throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Wagner looks winded!
Dayton comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Wagner throws a hook to the side of Dayton's head but Dayton sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Dayton lands a lovely overhand right.
Dayton drops Wagner with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Wagner looks back up at him and smiles so Dayton waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Wagner is rocked!
Dayton fakes the body blow, causing Wagner to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Wagner goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Xavier Dayton!
