The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salvatierra lands with an overhand left.
Good standup being displayed there by Pike as he connects with a hook.
Salvatierra is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Pike.
Pike scores with a jab to the body.
Pike throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Salvatierra stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Salvatierra throws a right and a left that Pike avoids nicely.
Salvatierra swings for the body but Pike moves out of range.
Pike lands a jab to the nose.
Pike connects with a body shot that sends Salvatierra's belly button to the back.
Pike lands a glancing blow to the side of Salvatierra's head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Salvatierra swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Salvatierra misses with a jab to the body
and Pike counters with a huge left! Salvatierra is in big trouble! He's backing up but Pike isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Salvatierra from any more damage. A dominating finish by Pike!
