The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Dillan Fox and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henderson takes one to the side of the head.
MacDonald tries to bum rush Henderson with a series of wild strikes but Henderson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Henderson slips a jab and a cross from MacDonald.
MacDonald keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Henderson slips a straight right by MacDonald.
MacDonald will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

and Henderson counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps MacDonald thinking.
MacDonald displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Henderson throws out the jab.

MacDonald ducks straight into an uppercut from Henderson and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - MacDonald maanges to regain guard straight away.

Henderson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
