Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cinderella Man Ii (ranked 5700 p4p, 3960 weight class) and Joe Gold (ranked 0 p4p, 400 weight class). Gold has chosen Benzz - Je M'appelle as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Man Ii jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Gold throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Gold tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Man Ii counters with a right hand to the body.
Man Ii digs a good hook to Gold's body.
Nice body punch from Man Ii.
Gold looks winded!
A jab from Gold misses.
Man Ii connects with a body shot that sends Gold's belly button to the back.
Joe Gold seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gold shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

It looks like Joe Gold has been cut.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Gold has eaten all the pies!
Gold takes one to the side of the head.

Man Ii lands a left and a right that send Gold crashing to the mat, dazed. Man Ii thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Man Ii finds Gold's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Gold flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Man Ii lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Gold will be OK.
