Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Grond Konter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Greg Redman!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Joseph Jones and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Konter or perhaps it was just good defense by Redman, which made it look bad.

and Redman counters with a three punch combo that has Konter backing up. Konter nods at Redman to acknowledge the strikes.
Redman throws a head kick that Konter semi-blocks.

Konter is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Redman's half guard.

Redman manages to escape and get back to his feet!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Konter is nestled in close to Redman, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
