Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morgan has chosen Hero of The Day as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws a nice looking combination but Morgan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Steve Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Morgan looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Jones tries to clinch up.
Morgan slips a jab and a cross from Jones.

Morgan tries to keep at a distance but Jones has taken the fight into the clinch.

Jones gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Jones gets to his feet. Morgan looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Jones drops Morgan with a right and a left! Jones comes rushing in but Morgan regains his composure and manages to keep Jones in guard.

It looks like Matt Morgan has been cut.

Jones postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Jones gets to his feet. Morgan looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Jones has closed the distance and engaged Morgan in a clinch.

Jones breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Jones swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Morgan.

That has opened up Matt Morgan's cut even more.

Jones has Morgan up against the cage in a clinch.

Jones breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jones connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Morgan's hands.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Morgan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jones throws a leg kick but Morgan sees it coming and moves out of range.

The cut above Matt Morgan's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Jones clinches up with Morgan and pushes him back against the cage.

Jones has Morgan pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Morgan manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Jones is working for takedown but Morgan is calmly controlling the position for now.
Jones lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Jones's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Jones tries to clinch but Morgan is having none of it.
Jones tries to close the distance and clinch but Morgan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Morgan walks into a left hand.
Morgan keeps the fight on the outside.

Jones throws a low kick, looking for Morgan's leg but Morgan calmly moves out of range.
Morgan throws out a loose jab but Jones uses good head movement to avoid it.
Jones misses with a two punch combination.
Morgan walks into a jab.

Jones clinches up with Morgan and pushes him back against the cage.

Jones breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Jones is looking to clinch but Morgan is avoiding it.

enabling Jones to counter with a crisp jab.

Jones throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Jones's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up but Morgan swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Jones doesn't manage to clinch there - Morgan circles away.

Jones will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Morgan moves away from the strike by Jones.
The fighters circle momentarily. Jones darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Matt Morgan's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Matt Morgan's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
