Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 8 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Anthony Camacho!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Shaun Wallace!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, William Gold and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallace checks the leg kick.
Camacho missing with a left hand there. Wallace was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Camacho tries to land a leg kick but Wallace saw it coming and moves away.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Wallace lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Camacho backwards.

Camacho ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Camacho no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Wallace would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Camacho working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wallace doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wallace manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Wallace has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Camacho is proving hard to escape from.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Camacho has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wallace can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Wallace wants to get up but he can't break Camacho's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Camacho is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Camacho is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Wallace has his hands clasped together but Camacho extends and breaks Wallace's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Camacho.
