The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sweetsugar slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Sweetsugar closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Muzhaiev to the mat! Muzhaiev manages to get full guard.

Sweetsugar looking to sit in guard and control but Muzhaiev gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Sweetsugar is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Muzhaiev is controlling him.
Muzhaiev is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Muzhaiev postures up in Sweetsugar's guard and throws a big left but Sweetsugar blocks it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Sweetsugar pushes Muzhaiev up against the ropes in a clinch.
Sweetsugar tries to throw a body punch but Muzhaiev avoids it by throwing Sweetsugar back against the ropes.

Sweetsugar struggles to land a body shot inside as Muzhaiev controls his hands.
Muzhaiev is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the ropes enables Sweetsugar to keep the fight standing.
Muzhaiev has Sweetsugar pressed against the ropes, preventing Sweetsugar from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Sweetsugar lands an elbow just above Muzhaiev 's eye.
Muzhaiev tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Sweetsugar is fighting off a takedown attempt but Muzhaiev is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Sweetsugar to the mat. Sweetsugar regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Sweetsugar wants to get back to his feet but Muzhaiev passes into half guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Muzhaiev maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Sweetsugar could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Muzhaiev has cracked it and Sweetsugar is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Muzhaiev!
