Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jamie Poppenstuff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pepe Rojas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jamie Poppenstuff!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pepe Rojas!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rojas throws a sloppy head kick and Poppenstuff moves out of range easily.

Rojas scores with a takedown into Poppenstuff's guard.
Poppenstuff wants to get back to his feet but Rojas is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Rojas drops back looking for a leg! Poppenstuff is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Poppenstuff manages to kick Rojas off! Rojas jumps back into Poppenstuff's guard.
Rojas trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Rojas has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Poppenstuff throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rojas.
Poppenstuff throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Rojas shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Poppenstuff is trying to defend but Rojas finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Rojas cracks Poppenstuff with a big right hand but Poppenstuff just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Rojas is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Poppenstuff knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Poppenstuff knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rojas on the ground.
