The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Makunochi gets tackled into the cage by Martins. Martins maintains the clinch.
Makunochi lands with a light punch inside.
Martins jumps guard but Makunochi stands there with Martins around his waist. Martins gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Martins misses with a punch to the body.
Makunochi blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Makunochi lands a right hand.

Martins escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Martins doesn't manage to clinch there - Makunochi circles away.
Martins blocks a jab.
Martins goes for a double leg but Makunochi avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Makunochi continues to drive forward.
Makunochi swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Martins is looking to clinch.
A punch combination from Makunochi misses.
Makunochi sets himself, and Martins steps forward looking for the clinch! Makunochi avoids it this time.
Makunochi bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Martins's head backwards.

It looks like Dylan Martins has been cut.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Makunochi cracks Martins with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Martins looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Makunochi finish him?

Makunochi fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Martins out cold! Brutal finish!
