Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gilbervan Soares (ranked 754 p4p, 860 weight class) and Brusse Liee (ranked 105 p4p, 120 weight class). Liee has chosen Disturbed - Indestructible [Official Music Video] as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soares scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Liee doesn't seem bothered though.
No joy there for Liee, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Soares turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Soares manages to end up in side control.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Soares seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Liee for as long as he can get away with.

Liee tries to buck Soares off but Soares is having none of it.
Soares is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Liee will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Soares drives through with a takedown into Liee's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Liee really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Soares. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Liee has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Soares is working away from the top position though.

Soares is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Liee keeps control of the position for the meantime.

Soares thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Liee's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Soares works his foot free and advances to mount.
Soares landing punches.
Liee takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Liee is rocked!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Soares cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Liee is still in real trouble! Can Soares finish him?
Soares softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Liee is out cold! Soares jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
