Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Mabab.
Theus takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Theus struggling a bit here.
Theus tries to bench press Mabab off him but Mabab keeps the position.
Mabab scoring with punches and elbows.
Theus manages to work his way to half guard, despite Mabab's best efforts.
Theus has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mabab is working away from the top position though.

Mabab is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Theus is trying to stand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Theus is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Mabab lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Mabab thows a huge punch but Theus dodges it nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mabab thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Theus's head.
Theus regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Mabab.
Mabab wants to pass the guard but Theus is keeping the position.
Theus looking to control.
Theus preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Theus has his hands on Mabab's head, controlling the position.
Mabab really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Theus. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Mabab postures up in Theus's guard and throws a big left but Theus blocks it.
Mabab must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Theus wants to stand and escape but Mabab is having none of it.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Mabab's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Theus is rocked!
Mabab gets to his feet and stands over Theus, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Theus felt that one! Mabab unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Theus from any more punishment!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kebab Mabab!
