Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roland Rolando!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rolando closes the distance and clinches up with Fluggerstaff, looking for a takedown. Rolando pushes Fluggerstaff against the cage but Fluggerstaff circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Rolando tries to keep at a distance but Fluggerstaff has taken the fight into the clinch.

Fluggerstaff pulls guard effortlessly.
Rolando looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Fluggerstaff tries to strike from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fluggerstaff controlling Rolando's posture.
Fluggerstaff on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Fluggerstaff tries to get out of the position.
Rolando stands and throws Fluggerstaff's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Fluggerstaff is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Rolando cracks Fluggerstaff with a big right hand but Fluggerstaff just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Rolando has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Fluggerstaff is looking to regain half guard here but Rolando keeps moving and retains side control.
Rolando trying to control the action but Fluggerstaff is working from the bottom.
Fluggerstaff tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fluggerstaff seems a little lost for a moment, as Rolando dominates the positioning.

Rolando has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Fluggerstaff is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Rolando yanks on the arm and Fluggerstaff is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Rolando.
