Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jacques Bollomard (ranked 1803 p4p, 2299 weight class) and Vitor Mesquita (ranked 212 p4p, 255 weight class). Bollomard comes to the cage accompanied by Mysterium. Vitor Mesquita has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vitor Mesquita!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Steve Montenegro and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mesquita tries for a takedown but Bollomard circles away easily
and Bollomard makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Bollomard rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mesquita moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Mesquita showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Bollomard.
Bollomard tries to sprawl but Mesquita drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Bollomard's coaches at Glory 4 Boxing have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

Mesquita shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Bollomard manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Mesquita got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bollomard has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mesquita has managed to get both his arms back between Bollomard's legs - danger averted.
