The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cozad cracks Cholo with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Cozad has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Cholo to stand back up!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Oh Cholo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cholo moves in looking to clinch but Cozad pushes him off.

Cholo tries to bum rush Cozad with a series of wild strikes but Cozad uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Cozad lands a big uppercut and Cholo crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Cholo looks OK. Cozad waves Cholo back to his feet!
Cozad looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Cozad blocks a jab.
Cholo looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Cholo throws a head kick that misses.
Some wild striking there from Cozad.

Cozad feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Cholo sprawling to the canvas! Cholo rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Cozad finish him?!
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Cozad throws a lazy right hand but Cholo sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Cholo is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Cholo lands a right hook to the body.
Cozad drops Cholo with a straight right hand, right on the button! Cozad follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
