Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kaleo Verzo (ranked 2835 p4p, 3066 weight class) and Billy Richards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Billy Richards is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kaleo Verzo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Billy Richards!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Matheus Silva and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab lands there for Verzo.
Richards looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Verzo defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Richards.
Richards shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Verzo as he jumps to the side.
Richards darts in looking for a takedown but Verzo gets double underhooks and turns Richards into the cage.
Kaleo Verzo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Richards.
Verzo thumps Richards with a low kick.
Verzo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Richards paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Richards closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Verzo did well to prevent Richards getting side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Richards prevents Verzo from standing back up.
Verzo won't allow Richards to pass to mount.
Richards is taking a breather. Verzo says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Richards is pressing down on Verzo's thigh, looking to free his foot. Verzo is holding on for now.
Richards looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Richards tries to score a power double leg takedown but Verzo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Richards somewhat.
Richards gets tackled into the cage by Verzo. Verzo maintains the clinch.
Richards keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Verzo's efforts to push away.
Verzo lands a nice elbow.

A frustrated look appears on Richards's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Verzo prevents a takedown attempt there.
Richards goes for a takedown in the clinch but Verzo prevents it.
Richards is trying to trip Verzo. He has hold of a leg but Verzo is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Richards persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Verzo kicks Richards off and gets to his feet.
Verzo doesn't manage to clinch there - Richards circles away.
Verzo tries to clinch up.
Verzo lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Richards backs up against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Verzo lands a two punch combo.
Verzo scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Verzo tries to clinch up but Richards circles away and keeps his distance.
Richards is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Richards on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Verzo is breathing heavily.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Richards is defended easily by Verzo.
Verzo moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Richards drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Richards's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Verzo pushes Richards away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Richards gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

More stalling from Richards.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Richards with more of the same as he continues to hold on.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kaleo Verzo dominated that round.
That's time! Verzo's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Richards closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Verzo's guard.
Richards's corner is telling him to maintain position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Richards stops Verzo from standing up.
Richards works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Billy Richards has got the better of the ground game so far.

Verzo is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Richards can do to turn this around?
Richards works his foot free and advances to mount.
Richards takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Richards moves to the back.
Richards is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Let's hope that Richards has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Billy Richards showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Richards shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Verzo manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Richards.

Richards throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Verzo's waist but Verzo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Richards off to one side.
Richards shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Verzo napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Richards uses his free foot to push down on Verzo's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Verzo.

I think Richards has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
