The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from La Forge misses the target.
It looked like Messier was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from La Forge.
Messier takes a jab right on the kisser.

La Forge changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Oh Messier is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
La Forge digs a good body shot into Messier's ribs.
Messier throws a lazy right hand but La Forge sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Messier swings and misses with a hook to the body.
La Forge looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
La Forge connects with a jab.
Messier looks to score with a jab to the body but La Forge is just out of range.
Messier looks up at the clock. Bad move! La Forge lands a right hand from hell, dropping Messier. La Forge pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
