Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rory Devaney (ranked 5326 p4p, 3983 weight class) and Austin Shannon (ranked 0 p4p, 384 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Devaney misses with a two punch combination.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Shannon! But no joy.
Devaney will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Shannon tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Devaney stalks Shannon and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Shannon's face. Shannon staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like Austin Shannon has been cut.

Devaney clinches up with Shannon and pushes him back against the cage.
Shannon jumps guard but Devaney stands there with Shannon around his waist. Shannon gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Shannon looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

Devaney lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Shannon circles away quickly and effectively.
The fighters circling - Devaney throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Devaney rolls with it to try and escape but Shannon cranks on the arm and Devaney is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
