The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darawan throws a looping overhand right but Okoroji ducks down to avoid it.
Darawan throws a shot from downtown. Okoroji moves away and avoids it.
Darawan takes a swing at Okoroji's ribcage but misses.
Okoroji swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Darawan throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Okoroji sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Okoroji dives in for a single leg takedown but Darawan sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

and Okoroji counters with a left and a right that stings Darawan.

Darawan gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Okoroji uses his free foot to push down on Darawan's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Darawan.
