Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vasily Khrapov Jr (ranked 1001 p4p, 953 weight class) and Agent Smith (ranked 134 p4p, 127 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Richard Clark and Daniel Bishop.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Khrapov Jr.
Smith misses with a body shot
and Khrapov Jr counters with a right hand to the body.
Khrapov Jr looks to score with a jab to the body but Smith is just out of range.
Vasily Khrapov Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fight stays on the outside here - Smith looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Smith throws a right hand that Khrapov Jr ducks under and follows up with a left that Khrapov Jr also avoids with ease.
Khrapov Jr misses with a double jab.
Khrapov Jr bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Smith's head backwards.
Smith has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Khrapov Jr finds it's way round the side to connect with Smith's head.
Smith swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Smith throws a leg kick but Khrapov Jr sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Smith lands a nice leg kick that just misses Khrapov Jr's sensitive parts.

We've been told by Khrapov Jr's head coaches at THUD! that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A decent looking cross lands there for Khrapov Jr.

Smith has closed the distance and engaged Khrapov Jr in a clinch.
Smith misses with a hook to the ribs.

Smith is trying to maintain a safe position but Khrapov Jr gets an underhook and turns Smith into the cage.
Khrapov Jr tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Smith just stands there and leans against the cage.
Khrapov Jr throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Smith tries a body shot but Khrapov Jr blocks it.

Smith stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Khrapov Jr swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Smith throws a strike but Khrapov Jr rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Smith is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Khrapov Jr is aware though and is defending well.
Khrapov Jr is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Smith is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Smith pulls Khrapov Jr in close to prevent any damage.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Smith throws a sloppy head kick and Khrapov Jr moves out of range easily.
Khrapov Jr seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
A big right from Smith misses.
Khrapov Jr fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Smith on the side of the head.
Smith misses with a body shot.
Smith scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Khrapov Jr doesn't seem bothered though.
Khrapov Jr tries to clinch up.
Khrapov Jr stalks Smith and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Smith's face. Smith staggers backwards, shaken.
Vasily Khrapov Jr is winning the standup battle so far.
Khrapov Jr will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Smith is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Khrapov Jr with a body shot.

Khrapov Jr uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Smith.

and Smith cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Smith looks to land a left hand but Khrapov Jr moved out of range nicely.
A quick step to the side and Khrapov Jr tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Khrapov Jr looks to land a combination but Smith avoids it well.

Smith pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Khrapov Jr back to the cage. Smith follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Smith throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Khrapov Jr sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Smith lands a left and a right that send Khrapov Jr crashing to the mat, dazed. Smith thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Smith digs a good hook to Khrapov Jr's body.
Oh Khrapov Jr is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Smith drops Khrapov Jr with a straight right hand, right on the button! Smith follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
