Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rogan Ford (ranked 4415 p4p, 4790 weight class) and Ignacio Nuevos (ranked 422 p4p, 445 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Darius Henderson and Donatello Bradman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ford stuffs the takedown.
Ford lands with a cross.
Ford tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Nuevos defends well and Ford ends up having to push Nuevos into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Nuevos has hold of one of Ford's legs. Ford is fighting the takedown attempt but Nuevos gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Ford manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Nuevos stands up over Ford, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

That was a close round but I would say that Rogan Ford will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

No luck for Nuevos with that takedown attempt.

It looks like Rogan Ford has been cut.
Ford shoots and misses
letting Nuevos counter with a right hand.
Horrible takedown attempt by Ford or perhaps it was just good defense by Nuevos, which made it look bad.
Nuevos drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Ford defends it well.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rogan Ford. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ford throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nuevos's waist but Nuevos gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ford off to one side.

Nuevos drops Ford with a beautiful combination! Ford stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Nuevos is looking for the KO!

Ford is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Nuevos has cracked Ford with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Nuevos lands another huge swinging hook and Ford tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Ford, before Nuevos can land any more shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Ignacio Nuevos!
Ignacio Nuevos spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
