Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between mike jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ed Devine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Devine has chosen I'm Blue as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
jones fails to land the takedown.

jones slips a jab and a cross from Devine.
jones throws a right hand that Devine ducks under and follows up with a left that Devine also avoids with ease.

jones thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Devine is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

jones has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

jones is controlling the pace.
jones works his foot free and advances to mount.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

jones decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Devine has a hand on jones's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. jones takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Devine reaches up and pulls jones towards him, trying to control the position. jones manages to get a guillotine from the mount though! This could be big trouble for Devine! Devine tries to roll over - now jones is on the bottom but the guillotine is really deep and Devine has to tap out! Great work there by jones!
