Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Clarence Boston!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jett Robins!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boston falls off balance throwing a combination
enabling Robins to counter with a crisp jab.
Robins slips a jab and a cross from Boston.
Boston stuffs the takedown.
Boston throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Boston throws a big shot that misses.
Robins appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Boston throws a body shot but no joy.
Robins ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Robins tries to bum rush Boston with a series of wild strikes but Boston uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Robins shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Boston is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Robins pulls his head out easily.
Boston is looking to improve his position.

Boston's coaches at Triumph Over Fear have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Robins is looking to advance position but Boston won't allow it.

Boston has his foot on Robins's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Robins works his way back into a safe position though.

Despite the aggression on Robins's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Robins throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Boston tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Robins is in Boston's guard.
Robins wants to control from the top but Boston keeps moving.

Robins might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Boston haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Boston manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Robins perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
It looks like Robins might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Robins tries to pass to full mount but Boston defends it.
Robins seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Robins is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Boston sees it coming and defends easily.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Robins in particular looking to stall.
Boston is not content to let Robins control the position.
Boston tries to roll over but Robins keeps him under control.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Boston chopping away at his opponent's legs.

A big right from Robins misses.
Boston moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Boston throws the left hand but Robins avoids the punch easily.
Robins throws out a counter right but Boston avoids it with no problem.
Boston tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Robins was well out of range. Poor timing from Boston.

Robins uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Boston.
Robins lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Boston has taken the fight to the clinch.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Boston lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Robins digs a good body shot into Boston's ribs.
Boston fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Robins on the side of the head.
Boston takes a swing at Robins's ribcage but misses.
Robins is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Boston.
Boston lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Robins throws a series of strikes that have Boston backpedaling.
Robins thuds a left hand into Boston's body.
Robins swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Boston ducks under a wild hook from Robins.

Boston clinches up with Robins and pushes him back against the cage.
Robins has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Robins has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Boston is trying to keep an underhook but Robins manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Robins wants to control but Boston is keeping him busy.

Boston pushes Robins off looking to stand but Robins dives back in and keeps control.
Boston controlling the position well.
Boston is staying active underneath Robins, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Boston is looking to control Robins's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Boston avoid being mounted?
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Boston is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Robins trying to mount his opponent but Boston defends it.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Robins is trying to control. Boston wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Robins displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Boston throws out the jab.
Boston looks to land a right hand but Robins moved out of range.

Robins swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Boston misses with an uppercut
and Robins counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Robins checks the leg kick nicely there.
Boston lands with a hook. Robins tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Robins gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Robins is rocked!
Robins on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Robins is still on wobbly legs! Can Boston finish him?

Crack! Boston connects with the perfect overhand right and Robins falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Boston!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:07 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Clarence Boston!
Clarence Boston decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
