The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davies tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Goncalves paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Davies turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Goncalves lands with a straight right. Davies didn't see that one coming.
Davies throws a head kick but Goncalves moves out of range.
Nice jab there from Goncalves.
Goncalves misses with a series of wild punches.
Goncalves jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Davies takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
