Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joe Exotic (ranked 161 p4p, 523 weight class) and Yevgeny Ignatov (ranked 18 p4p, 58 weight class). Exotic comes into the arena with Joe Exotic - I Saw a Tiger blaring out of the sound system. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 34 - 15 - 2, fighting out of New York, Joe Exotic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Yevgeny Ignatov!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Exotic sizes up Ignatov with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Ignatov steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Exotic. That one must have hurt.
Exotic clobbers Ignatov with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Ignatov rushes Exotic and presses him up against the cage.
Ignatov misses with a hook from the clinch.
Exotic's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
The fighters circle momentarily. Exotic darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Ignatov swings widly with a right hand
and Exotic counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Ignatov thinking.
Exotic looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Exotic throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ignatov misses with a lunging right hand
and Exotic counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Ignatov tried to score with a low kick but Exotic checks it.
Exotic appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Exotic lands a really nice looking cross but Ignatov seems unphased.

Exotic throws a wild body kick that Ignatov sees coming a mile off.

and Exotic counters with a nice uppercut.

Ignatov darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Ignatov looks for the body kick but Exotic saw that one coming.
Ignatov blocks a head kick by Exotic.
Ignatov throws a sloppy head kick and Exotic moves out of range easily.
A left lands for Exotic.
Exotic lands a big head kick that sends Ignatov tumbling to the mat! Exotic takes a step backwards and waves Ignatov back to his feet - he wants the finish!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Yevgeny Ignatov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Exotic uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Ignatov.

and Exotic counters with a nice uppercut.
Ignatov tries to clinch but Exotic is having none of it.
Ignatov misses with a hook.
Ignatov throws a right hand that misses
and Exotic counters with a straight right hand.
Ignatov throws the kick towards the body but Exotic avoids it.
Ignatov fails with an attempt to clinch.

Exotic feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Ignatovs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Ignatov takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

and Exotic makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

and Exotic counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Exotic looks to score with a jab to the body but Ignatov is just out of range.

Exotic on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Ignatov tries to close the distance and clinch up but Exotic swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A quick step to the side and Exotic tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ignatov misses with a right hand
and Exotic counters with a low kick, right behind Ignatov 's knee.
Ignatov checks a low kick from Exotic.
Ignatov attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Exotic throwing a counter right hand but Ignatov manages to avoid it.
Exotic throws a sloppy head kick and Ignatov moves out of range easily.
Ignatov moves to clinch but Exotic breaks away
and Ignatov takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Exotic paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Ignatov takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Joe Exotic dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Exotic misses with a body shot.

Ignatov slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Ignatov is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

A lazy body kick from Ignatov
and Exotic connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Exotic lands with an uppercut that bounces Ignatov off the cage and back into range.
Ignatov throws a leg kick
and Exotic counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Ignatov walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Exotic checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Ignatov takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Ignatov is breathing heavily.
Ignatov throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Exotic counters with a nice right hand that sends Ignatov toppling to the canvas! Ignatov scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Exotic finish him?!
Ignatov is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Exotic counters with a big left hand that crumples Ignatov! He was out before he hit the floor! Brutal knockout!
