Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Orestes Prometheus (ranked 65 p4p, 98 weight class) and Douglas Sampson (ranked 6 p4p, 10 weight class). Prometheus comes to the cage accompanied by Before I Forget - Slipknot. Sampson has chosen Sunshine (ft. Anthony Hamilton) - Twista as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Prometheus takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

It looks like Orestes Prometheus has been cut.
Sampson avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Sampson now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Prometheus.
Sampson has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Prometheus.
Prometheus looks to score with a jab to the body but Sampson is just out of range.
A little jabbing left from Sampson on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Sampson throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Prometheus swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Sampson throws a lazy uppercut
and Prometheus counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Prometheus missing with a left hand there. Sampson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

and Prometheus makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Prometheus lands a front kick.
Prometheus bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Sampson's head.
Sampson misses with an uppercut. Prometheus saw that one coming.
And Prometheus counters with a quick kick to the body but Sampson blocks it.
Prometheus just misses with a punch to the body.
Sampson avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

It looked like Prometheus wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Prometheus sends Sampson crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Prometheus is motioning to the referee to let Sampson up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
