The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kok misses with a kick to the body
and Mathieu counters with an inside leg kick.
Kok scores with a head kick.

It looks like Ernesto Mathieu has been cut.

Mathieu cracks Kok with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Kok looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Mathieu finish him?

It looks like Chew Kok has been cut.
Kok steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Mathieu. That one must have hurt.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Mathieu obliges.

Mathieu lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Mathieu.
Mathieu lands a body shot.
Mathieu lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Kok is rocked!
Mathieu putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Kok in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Mathieu has Kok pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Kok is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Mathieu - that's hurt Kok badly! Oh, another knee lands and Kok is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Kok doesn't seem to be complaining.
