Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Phillip Terrell (ranked 927 p4p, 867 weight class) and Macka Briggs (ranked 137 p4p, 130 weight class). The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick lands from Terrell.
A bone on bone clash there as Briggs blocks the leg kick.
Briggs lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Terrell at a distance.
Terrell paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Terrell thuds a left hand into Briggs's body.
Briggs circles away from the clinch attempt.
Briggs moves out of range as Terrell strikes.
Terrell misses with an uppercut. Briggs saw that one coming.
Briggs bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Phillip Terrell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Terrell scores with a jab to the body.
Briggs throws a series of punches but Terrell moves out of range.
Terrell throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
A decent looking cross lands there for Terrell.
Terrell has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Scrap Squad in the buildup to the fight.

Briggs feints a jab promting Terrell to slip. Briggs then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Terrell slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Briggs throws a series of punches but Terrell moves out of range.
Terrell misses with a kick to the body.
Terrell connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Briggs looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Terrell digs a good hook to Briggs's body.
Terrell on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Terrell dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Briggs. That did some damage!

Terrell throws a looping overhand right but Briggs ducks down to avoid it.
Terrell thumps Briggs with a low kick.
Terrell scores with a hook.
Briggs tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Terrell was well out of range. Poor timing from Briggs.
Briggs connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Terrell slips under a jab.
Terrell walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Briggs ducks right into an uppercut from Terrell.
Terrell ducks under a wild hook from Briggs.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Briggs lands a shot to the body.
Briggs lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Terrell or not.
Briggs struggles to land a body shot inside as Terrell controls his hands.

A quick uppercut on the inside from Terrell.
Terrell goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Briggs lands with a left to the head.
Briggs tries to throw a body punch but Terrell avoids it by throwing Briggs back against the cage.
Briggs lands an elbow that stopped Terrell in his tracks for a moment.

Briggs swings wildly with an uppercut but Terrell uses good head movement to avoid it.
Terrell tries to work over Briggs's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Briggs works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Briggs.
Briggs makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Briggs blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Briggs lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Briggs breaks the clinch.
Briggs on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Terrell waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Briggs.
Briggs jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Briggs drops Terrell with a straight right hand, right on the button! Briggs follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
