Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrei Kersikov (ranked 32 p4p, 154 weight class) and Tali Ihantala (ranked 4 p4p, 12 weight class). Kersikov comes into the arena with Head of the Table blaring out of the sound system. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 38 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tali Ihantala!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Ihantala throws a quick inside leg kick.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
A lazy body kick from Ihantala

Kersikov slips under a jab from Ihantala.
Kersikov looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Ihantala misses with a lunging right hand
and Kersikov counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Ihantala ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kersikov moves away.
A little feinted left hand from Kersikov on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Ihantala throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Kersikov counters with a lovely straight right hand!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A low kick from Ihantala is predictable there
and Kersikov counters with a crisp right hand that drops Ihantala! Kersikov lets Ihantala back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

and Kersikov counters with a left to the body.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Ihantala. Kersikov shrugs it off though.
Ihantala throws a leg kick but Kersikov sees it coming and moves out of range.
It appears Kersikov was looking to counter with a kick there.
Ihantala rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Kersikov counters with a nice uppercut.

Kersikov throws a quick counter kick to the body but Ihantala avoids it.
Ihantala misses with a straight right.

and Kersikov counters with a crisp right hand that drops Ihantala! Kersikov lets Ihantala back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Ihantala throws a lazy right hand but Kersikov sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
It looked like Kersikov was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Ihantala ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kersikov moves away.
Kersikov takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Ihantala looks to score with a jab to the body but Kersikov is just out of range.
Kersikov gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Ihantala throws a looping overhand right but Kersikov ducks down to avoid it.
As Ihantala looks to move away, Kersikov throws a big counter combo but Ihantala just gets out of the way.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Ihantala throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Kersikov counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Ihantala motions for Kersikov to come forward. Ihantala throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Kersikov cracks Ihantala with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Kersikov has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Ihantala to stand back up!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Ihantala.
Kersikov thinks about countering with a body kick.
Ihantala throws a sloppy head kick
and Kersikov counters with a nice kick to the body.
Ihantala looks winded!
Kersikov scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Ihantala doesn't seem bothered though.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Andrei Kersikov dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Tali Ihantala's cut.
That's time! Kersikov's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Ihantala misses with a hook
and Kersikov counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Ihantala stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kersikov.
Ihantala rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Kersikov counters with a crisp right that sends Ihantala to the canvas! Kersikov follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Andrei Kersikov!
A relieved looking Andrei Kersikov thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
