The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Silva decides to stand up, so the ref orders LePoopiepants to his feet.

Silva fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. LePoopiepants sprawls well initially but Silva persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
LePoopiepants is trying to control but Silva passes into side control!

Silva closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Silva wants to take a breather but LePoopiepants is having none of it.

Silva is working to tighten is grip on LePoopiepants's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. LePoopiepants has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Silva is really squeezing tight and eventually LePoopiepants passes out! Silva breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
