Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Percival Nerdspoof The 3rd (ranked 904 p4p, 2443 weight class) and Gatimu Wanjiku (ranked 111 p4p, 275 weight class). Nerdspoof The 3rd comes to the cage accompanied by Loser. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wanjiku steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Nerdspoof The 3rd.
Wanjiku unleashes a big counter combination but Nerdspoof The 3rd bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Nerdspoof The 3rd misses with a body shot.
A solid leg kick lands there for Wanjiku.
Wanjiku misses with a body shot.
Wanjiku takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Percival Nerdspoof The 3rd seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A punch lands to the side of Wanjiku 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Nerdspoof The 3rd looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Nerdspoof The 3rd cracks Wanjiku with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Nerdspoof The 3rd lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Wanjiku throws a low kick but it's checked well by Nerdspoof The 3rd.
Nerdspoof The 3rd is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Wanjiku throws a leg kick but Nerdspoof The 3rd sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Nerdspoof The 3rd throws a body shot but no joy.
Wanjiku has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Wanjiku there as he acknowledges the shot.
Wanjiku misses with a low kick.
Nerdspoof The 3rd avoids the body shot from Wanjiku.
Wanjiku swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Wanjiku is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Nerdspoof The 3rd throws a series of punches but Wanjiku moves out of range.
Nerdspoof The 3rd slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Wanjiku misses with a few strikes there.
Nerdspoof The 3rd throwing a counter right hand but Wanjiku manages to avoid it.
Nerdspoof The 3rd misses with a straight right.
Wanjiku looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Nerdspoof The 3rd is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Wanjiku.

Nerdspoof The 3rd throws an uppercut from hell that sends Wanjiku clean off his feet! He's out cold! Nerdspoof The 3rd stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
