Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jim Bob Walton (ranked 1523 p4p, 1735 weight class) and Breno Belmiro (ranked 121 p4p, 141 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jim Bob Walton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Breno Belmiro!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Vladimir Khabensky and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Walton misses its intended target.

Belmiro has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Walton is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Belmiro goes for a double leg but Walton avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Walton continues to drive forward.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Belmiro is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Walton doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Belmiro.

Walton gets caught napping as Belmiro dives in and scores a takedown. Walton manages to retain guard.

Belmiro isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Walton stacks Belmiro on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Walton!

Walton really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
