Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Collins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karl Pluckerman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pluckerman comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Wurzels - Pheasant Pluckers Son kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Pluckerman has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pluckerman gets caught flat footed, as Collins shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Collins trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Collins thows a big elbow that misses.

Collins stands up from Pluckerman's guard - Collins perhaps looking for a knockout.

Collins shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Collins is looking to stand up but Pluckerman won't let him.

Collins is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Pluckerman doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Collins.

Collins decides to stand and escape the position.

Collins clinches up with Pluckerman and pushes him back against the cage.

Pluckerman wants a takedown but no success here.

Collins breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Collins throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Pluckerman keeps the fight on the outside.
Collins shoots in for a takedown but Pluckerman shows good takedown defense.
Collins is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Collins shoots in but Pluckerman avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Collins clinches up with Pluckerman and pushes him back against the cage.
Collins on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Pluckerman blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Pluckerman tries to land a knee to the head but Collins blocks with his arms.
Pluckerman misses with a short punch on the inside.
Pluckerman stops a takedown attempt from Collins.
Pluckerman is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Collins pulls guard.

Collins is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Collins working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pluckerman doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pluckerman manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Collins wants to work for an arm triangle but Pluckerman is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Collins lands with a right and another and another! Pluckerman is in big trouble! Collins lands again and this time it's lights out for Pluckerman! A quality knockout there for Collins.
